The supplier and site management module has been designed to allow the identification and approval of suppliers, sites and materials within the retail supply chain. It provides a full supplier and site contact management system incorporates: audit assessment, supplier selection and performance monitoring. Additionally, it provides visibility of supplier performance to other user groups such as product developers and procurement managers.
Supplier and site records includes an approval status such as authorised, suspended or awaiting approval. Contact details for crisis management or out of hours are maintained by the supplier.
The system’s audit management supports and protects brands by managing on-going due-diligence procedures. This ensures that products continue to be safe and legal. It allows the scheduling, control and review of audits of suppliers of component items within the supply chain. The control and review of an ‘approved supplier list’ supported by a rigorous process for the scheduling of audits, coupled with the management and review of non-conformances minimises the risk of poor quality material entering the supply chain and causing potentially costly incidents.
Scorecard performance enables the assessment of a supplier’s performance against a pre-defined and configurable set of criteria. Completion of the scorecard can be scheduled and monitored through status control that, when finalised, can be locked as a permanent assessment.
